Warm days are in store for both Gujarat as well as Rajasthan as temperatures in Gujarat are settling in lower 30s, and in the high 20s over Rajasthan.
Until February 11, minimum temperatures were settling below normal levels by 3 to 4°C at many places of North Gujarat and at a few places of West Rajasthan.
But now, a feeble Western Disturbance is affecting Jammu and Kashmir. With this, wind pattern has changed from dry and cold northerly to warm and moist southerly over the states. This has led to rise in minimum temperatures across the region.
During the last 24 hours, temperatures over many parts of Gujarat have increased by 2 to 5°C, which resulted in above normal minimums. Due to sudden change in wind direction, minimums which were earlier settling below normal have now settled above normal by 1 to 3°C.
According to Skymet Weather, another fresh western Disturbance is expected by tomorrow evening. In wake of this system, we can expect further rise in both day and night temperatures over Gujarat as well as Rajasthan. Days will become much warmer with clear sky conditions over Gujarat, while temperature in Rajasthan will surpass the 30-degree mark.
