Let us take a look at the weather forecast for the week:
Jammu and Kashmir will receive on and off rain and snow until November 16. Intensity is expected to be more on November 15. Meanwhile, isolated rain is likely in Uttarakhand. North Rajasthan and western parts of Punjab and Haryana will experience light rain on November 14 and 15. The weather will be dry over rest parts throughout the week. Delhi pollution will remain under ‘very poor to severe' category until November 15. Thereafter, a gradual improvement is likely.
Isolated light rain is likely in West Rajasthan and Gujarat until November 12. On November 13 and 14, a few moderate spells of rain and thundershowers with isolated hailstorm are likely over West Rajasthan. Scattered rains are likely in Saurashtra and Kutch while isolated activities are likely in Gujarat between November 13 and 15. November 16 onward, the weather will become dry. Meanwhile, isolated light rain is likely in South Konkan and Goa and Madhya Maharashtra until November 12.
Moderate rain is expected in Kerala, Interior Tamil Nadu, and South Interior Karnataka until November 12. Scattered light rain is likely in Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu until November 12. Between November 13 and 15, we expect scattered light to moderate rain in Coastal Tamil Nadu, while light showers in Coastal Andhra Pradesh. On November 16 and 17, there will be a decrease in the weather activity over the entire South Peninsula, however, isolated light rain is likely in South Tamil Nadu.
East and Northeast India
Northeast India will witness scattered light rain with one or two moderate spells until November 12. Thereafter, the weather of entire East and Northeast India will remain dry until the end of the week. As there is no weather system, northwesterly dry winds would continue throughout the week over East India. Thus, the weather would remain dry and sunny. Haze and mist are expected during morning hours over Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand. Minimums may also fall marginally.
