On back of steady demand from exporters, castor seed prices moved up at Rajkot market, while it decreased on futures as speculators trimmed positions. Demand for castor oil from exporters was good which mainly pushed up the price of the oilseed. About 10,000-12,000 bags arrived in Gujarat and prices was up Rs 5 to Rs 720-730 per 20 kilogram.
