Starting first with South India, the severe cyclonic storm presently lies over Southwest and adjoining parts of West central Bay of Bengal. Due to the presence of this system, heavy rainfall along with strong gusty winds will be observed at many places over North Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. Simultaneously light to moderate rain with strong winds will be observed over Telangana.
If we talk about Central India then light to moderate rains will be observed in parts of Vidarbha, some places of East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. Heavy rainfall will be observed in Odisha.
Now talking about East and Northeast India! Under the influence of Cyclonic storm, warm and moist winds will blow over Nagaland and other Northeastern states in the next 24 hours. However, heavy rains will occur over South of Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal. Moderate showers can be experienced over Bihar. Shallow to moderate fog will prevail over most places.
Now lastly talking about Northern states in the country. Dry and cold winds will prevail over Northern and Northwest plains of the country. Due to these winds slight fall in night temperatures is expected and winter chill would intensify. however, day would remain pleasant with bright sunshine. Shallow to moderate fog conditions at some places will be observed during early morning hours over Northwest Plains, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. Dry weather expected over rest parts of the country.
