Weather Forecast for July 28: Monsoon rains in Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra

The cyclonic circulation is marked over West Madhya Pradesh, adjoining Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan, giving heavy rains over West Madhya Pradesh, adjoining Gujarat and Southeast Rajasthan.

Trough is seen extending from the system over Central India going south across Maharashtra, Telangana, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, giving scattered rains over Maharashtra and Peninsular India.

Another cyclonic circulation is seen over Pakistan. A trough joining these two systems runs across Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, along the foothills of Himalayas up to Northeast India.

Uttarakhand will have fairly widespread rains with isolated heavy showers. The rainfall intensity is likely to increase further for next few days.

The Western Disturbance is gradually moving eastwards across Jammu & Kashmir.

Talking about Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Northeast India, particularly Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh will receive fairly widespread rain and thundershowers. Assam flood situation remains grim and seems like there is no relief in sight.

Along the West Coast, Konkan & Goa and Coastal Karnataka will continue to receive scattered rains with isolated heavy showers. Kerala will witness light to moderate showers.
