Let’s start with the southern part of the country. A Cyclonic Circulation is seen over Southwest Bay of Bengal off Sri Lanka coast. moving slightly up in the central region, a trough is seen running from South Madhya Maharashtra to Karnataka.
With this, light to moderate rains would continue over southern parts of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Meanwhile, the trough would bring light to moderate rains over North interior Karnataka, South Madhya Maharashtra and light spells can be experienced over North Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, and Konkan and Goa
Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana may also experience light rain whereas, Andaman and Nicobar Island will see good rains.
Meanwhile, an Anti-Cyclone is persisting over Madhya Pradesh. Therefore, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha will witness dry and warm weather.
Talking about East and Northeast India, dry northwesterly winds have been blowing over most parts of East India. Therefore, we expect dry weather to continue over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. But isolated light rains can be witnessed over parts of Odisha, Assam and Sikkim. Rest northeastern states will experience dry weather.
Moving to North, the affecting Western Disturbance is now clearing away, but its remnants might give isolated light rain activities over parts of Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.

Weather of Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh will remain dry yet comfortable. We don’t see any relief from ongoing Delhi pollution.
However, a Cyclonic Circulation is seen over Central Pakistan and its adjoining areas. Thus, West Rajasthan can expect isolated rains that might lead to marginal drop in temperatures.
