Munnar, literally translates to ‘three streams’, is a meeting point of Muthirapuzha, Nala Thanni, and Kundali.

4. Go fishing!

A trip with the family couldn’t have got better! Trout anglers may dip their fishing rods in the shimmering waters of Sita Devi Lake and enjoy a barbeque. Bring a kids fishing pole and keep the children happy and entertained for hours.

5. Indulge at the Eravikulam National Park

Eravikulam offers once in a lifetime experience where Neela Kurinji blooms once in 12 years. Last seen in 2018, the time for viewing them begins in August and lasts up to October. In Munnar, one can view this great sight from Kovilur, Kadavari, Rajamala and Eravikulam National Park. Eravikulam is incidentally home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr, hosting a majority of the remaining population of the species on the planet.
