The southern parts of Madhya Maharashtra and adjoining parts of Marathwada have observed light to moderate rain and thundershowers during the last 24 hours. These rains were a result of a Cyclonic Circulation over South Madhya Maharashtra and adjoining parts of North Interior Karnataka.
At present, the same system is over South Madhya Maharashtra and adjoining region. An upper air Trough is extending from Kerala to Southwest Madhya Pradesh across this system.
Both the weather systems would be shifting east/northeastwards gradually leading to light to moderate rain and thundershowers along with gusty winds in many parts of South Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Vidarbha during the next 24 hours.
Places like Solapur, Ahmednagar, Latur, Nagpur, Yavatmal, Parbhani, Jalna, Aurangabad, Amravati and Akola may experience rain.
Amidst rains, the day temperature is likely to drop by 1-3 degrees Celsius while night temperature may increase slightly.
Meanwhile, the coastal parts of Maharashtra may observe dry and warm weather. Due to the incursion of northwesterly moist winds, the humidity will increase in the coastal areas. The capital city of Mumbai may experience dry and warm weather with humid conditions.
