Weather across Tamil Nadu has remained almost dry from the past few days. Though, isolated rains occurred at a few places. There was no significant weather activity because Northeast Monsoon remained weak over the state. As per Skymet Weather, light to moderate rains over the interior parts of Tamil Nadu is expected during next 24 hours.

Thereafter, scattered rains will commence over the southern districts of the state as well. Whereas, north and north coastal stations would remain dry including Chennai.
