With New Year round the corner, here's how the weather will unfold in major cities across India on the first day of the year.
New Delhi – The weather in Delhi on New Year will continue to remain cold with morning minimum of around 6 degrees. Day temperature may settle around 17 degrees. Sky will be partly cloudy and there is a chance of shallow fog in the morning.
Mumbai – The commercial capital Mumbai will remain warm during the day with sunny skies. Day temperature will hover around 30 degrees, while minimum will settle at around 19 degrees.
Kolkata – Kolkata will continue to witness a bright and sunny day. The maximum temperature will be around 26 degrees while the night temperature will hover around 19 degrees which is quite warm compared to what we are experiencing in Northwest India.
Hyderabad – With minimum settling around 16 degrees, early morning hours will be cool in Hyderabad on the first day of the New Year. Day will be pleasant with maximum settling around 24 degrees. The sky will be partly cloudy in the city.
Bangalore – Bangalore will observe similar weather conditions. Maximum will be comfortable around 26 degrees, while minimum will be cool at around 15 degrees. Sky will be partly cloudy.
Chennai – Day weather in Chennai will remain warm with maximum settling around 30 degrees. Minimum will be pleasant around 20 degrees. Sky will be partly cloudy in Chennai.
