Exporters are worried that China’s slowing economy could possibly translate into weaker food and industrial demand for soybean and fewer imports from US. In 2014-2015 marketing year, China represented just over half of all US soybean export sales. The economic slowdown in China could be a major headwind to US soybean exports.
