Weather Forecast for February 26: Rain in West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand

Northwest India continues clear weather with bright sunshine. With this, day temperatures will also continue with the rising trend across the region.

Moving into the eastern parts of the country, the east-west trough continues to run from Bangladesh up to Vidarbha region with two cyclonic circulation embedded over it.

One circulation can be seen Gangetic West Bengal and nearby areas. While, other system is marked over East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha.

All these systems combined together will bring significant amount of rain over the respective region. On Friday, we can expect fairly widespread rain over West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh, with places receiving heavy spell.

While, weather system over Northeast India has become less-marked leading to substantial drop in rain activity over the region.

Another trough is seen in Southwest Bay of Bengal off the Tamil Nadu Coast, which may give light rain over Coastal Tamil Nadu on Friday.

Meanwhile, rest parts of the Peninsular India will witness dry weather conditions with few clouding.

Delhi will have a warm day with maximum temperatures of 31°C, while nights will be cooler at 13°C.

Mumbai and Chennai will hot and humid with day temperatures of 32°C and 33°C, respectively. Nights will have slight relief as Mumbai will settle at 20°C, while Chennai will be around 23°C.
