Talking about the weather conditions across North India, a fresh Western Disturbance is approaching the Western Himalayas. In wake of this weather system, we expect rain and snow to commence over Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. In fact, isolated parts of Uttarakhand may also witness rain and snow. Meanwhile, weather across northwestern plains will remain dry. However, dense fog will prevail over Punjab, Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh and some parts of Delhi and North Rajasthan. Moreover, cold day conditions will also be observed at a few places over Punjab.

Moving to East and Northeast India, dense to very dense fog is expected over East Uttar Pradesh which would lead to cold day conditions at a few places. However, the intensity of fog will be less over Bihar. In fact, northeastern states will have dry weather but shallow to moderate fog is expected at many parts of Northeast India.
In Central India, cold wave conditions are prevailing in parts of East Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha. The temperatures in central parts will be stable and isolated places may witness cold wave conditions. The sky will remain clear and cool winds from northeast will blow over Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha and Madhya Pradesh.

Down South, a trough is seen extending from south central Bay of Bengal to South Sri Lanka. In wake of this, light rain is expected at a few places over Andaman and Nicobar Island. Meanwhile, weather of entire Southern Peninsula will remain dry. In fact, we do not even expect rise in temperatures over South India for the next two days.
Talking about the major cities of India, Delhi, Lucknow and Patna will witness dense fog. While, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata will observed be dry and clear weather.
