Weather Forecast for July 10: Good rains in Mumbai, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi

The low pressure area over Central India has weakened into a cyclonic circulation and is now marked over Northwest Madhya Pradesh. With this, moderate to heavy rains will continue to lash flood-hit West Madhya Pradesh, Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra, East Gujarat and East Rajasthan on Sunday. The system will also active the off-shore trough along the West Coast and as a result, good Monsoon rains will make a comeback over Coastal Karnataka and Konkan & Goa including Mumbai. Interiors of Peninsular India will continue with subdued Monsoon rains.

Meanwhile, the fresh cyclonic circulation in Northwest Bay of Bengal has now shifted inland and is marked over Odisha and adjoining Chhattisgarh. Accordingly, good Monsoon rains may occur over Odisha, North Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, North Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal.

Up in Northeast India, scattered moderate showers will continue with isolated heavy rains over parts of Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya.

Up in North, a fresh Western Disturbance is seen over North Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir and its induced cyclonic circulation is over Central Pakistan and adjoining Punjab. Now both the systems along with the circulation over Madhya Pradesh will bring scattered light to moderate rains over northern plains of Delhi, Haryana and Punjab on Sunday. Hills of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh may see some heavy rainfall as well.
