The low pressure area over Madhya Pradesh has now weakened into a cyclonic circulation and is presently seen over South Uttar Pradesh and adjoining Madhya Pradesh. While another cyclonic circulation is marked over Central Pakistan and adjoining Punjab region. The Monsoon trough has also shifted upwards and is seen running from this system across the northern plains, center of the system over Uttar Pradesh and further through East India up to Arunachal Pradesh. In wake of this, moderate to heavy rains and thundershowers are likely across Indo-Gangetic plains including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar on Friday.

Rains will also pick up pace over Northeast India, especially over Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya that may see some very heavy Monsoon showers.

With these weather systems moving up, rains have significantly reduced over Central and West India.

Meanwhile down south, the feeble off-shore continue to run along the West Coast. With this, we can expect some moderate showers over Kerala, while Coastal Karnataka and Konkan & Goa will see light to moderate rains only. Interior Peninsular India will also continue with subdued Monsoon rains.
