The cyclonic circulation in Arabian Sea off the Karnataka and Goa Coast has kept the Monsoon current active. A feeble off-shore trough is also seen extending from this system up to Kerala.

With this, moderate rain with isolated heavy showers will continue right from Kerala up to Konkan and Goa even extending up to Mumbai.

While, Interior Karnataka, and Madhya Maharashtra will only witness isolated light to moderate rain.

Meanwhile, another circulation is now marked over Bangladesh and Tripura. With this, rains will now increase significantly over Northeastern states along with Sikkim and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal region.

Now an east west trough is seen extending from Punjab region up to West Bengal across the Indo-Gangetic plains.

Accordingly, we can expect scattered rain, thundershowers and thunderstorm activity over northwestern plains including Delhi and foothills of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. While, isolated showers are likely over East Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
