Weather Forecast Nov 23: Rains in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Ladakh, Delhi Air Pollution remains grim

Starting with North India and Northwestern plains wherein a Western Disturbance is over the eastern parts of Jammu and Kashmir and is moving in the eastward direction. This weather system will continue to give scattered rain and snow over Jammu and Kashmir, union territory of Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

The weather over the northwestern plains will be dry but the northwesterly cold winds will commence over the western parts of Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan which may lead to a marginal drop in the minimums. Pollution over Delhi and NCR will continue to remain grim.

In central parts of our country we see an Anti-Cyclone over Madhya Pradesh and dry weather conditions are expected to continue over entire central India including Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra. The minimums over East Madhya Pradesh and North Chhattisgarh might drop marginally. Mumbai during this time will see cool and comfortable morning and night.

Down South, the rain activities over Tamil Nadu will decrease now however scattered light rains with one or two moderate spells may continue over the coastal stations of Tamil Nadu. Along with this, scattered light rains are possible over Kerala, Interior Tamil Nadu, and South Karnataka. The weather conditions over Telangana, North Karnataka and most parts of Andhra Pradesh will be dry. Scattered rains are possible over Lakshadweep while isolated spells will be seen over Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Chennai and Bengaluru will see light rainfall activity while Hyderabad may see dry weather conditions.Heading to eastern states of our country wherein the dry winds from the Northwest will continue over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and West Bengal. Therefore, weather will remain dry however shallow fog is possible over the parts of East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Odisha. Kolkata during this time will see dry and warm weather conditions.

Meanwhile the northeastern states will witness dry weather conditions. Isolated light rains are possible over East Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Also, shallow to moderate fog is possible over Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
