The Indo-Gangetic Plains have been observing a dense layer of fog right from Punjab to Bihar. However, Jharkhand being south of Bihar, stayed on the margins of the fog layer which is why parts of the state have not observed much episodes of dense fog.

In the absence of fog, the day temperature has been comfortable with most places recording the highs in mid-20’s. However, the night temperatures have been dropping well below their normal levels.
