Bengaluru Weather

The Southwest monsoon has not been too kind on Bengaluru this year. Since the onset, the city has only been able to receive light rain with occasional moderate showers. In fact, during the entire month of June, the city only received live rainfall with a couple of moderate spells. Not only this, the city did not receive any double digit rains during June.

As far as the month of July is concerned, Bengaluru received traces of range during the first 2 days of month. The day before remained dry for the Garden City of India with Monsoon showers remaining in hiding.

However, the last 24 hours did give some relief to the residents of Bengaluru in the form of rain. In a span of 24 hours from 8:30 a.m. on Monday, the capital city of Karnataka received 8 millimetre of rainfall.

These rains can be attributed to localised weather activity which lead to cloud development over the region. As per Skymet Weather, Bengaluru is expected to remain almost dry during the next few days. The possibility of very light rains over a few areas due to localised weather activity cannot be ruled out.

However, due to absence of any significant weather system in proximity of Bengaluru, the city will not receive any good showers for the next few days.
