hyderabad post

So far, the state of Telangana has acquired normal rains with a mere deficiency of 1%. During the past 24 hours from 08:30 am on Wednesday, scattered rains have occurred over the region where Nalgonda recorded a hefty of 88 mm, followed by Ramagundam with meager rains of 6 mm and Hanamkonda 5 mm.

Now according to the weathermen in Skymet Weather, there is an anticipation of the deep depression brewing in Bay of Bengal to intensify into a cyclonic circulation and travel inland affecting the weather conditions over Telangana.

The rainfall activities are likely to enhance over the state accompanying moderate to heavy showers with one or two very heavy spells in places like Adilabad, Khammam, Medak, Nizamabad and Warangal till tomorrow. Somewhat similar weather activities are expected over the city of Pearls, Hyderabad.

Thereafter, the weather system will move towards Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh and on the grounds of this the intensity of showers will reduce significantly over Telangana, but on and off rains of light intensity will still continue until September 23.

From the agricultural perspective, these rains will adversely affect the crops that are at present in their harvesting stage. So farmers are highly recommended to choose plans accordingly.
