Monsoon rains in Hyderabad to continue

Monsoon has reached Telangana including Hyderabad and this year as on June 12, Monsoon over Telangana is surplus by 101%. Last year, Monsoon remained normal over Telangana and it ended with a surplus of 19%.

Now also, we expect moderate showers to continue over the state for the next two to three days. As per Skymet weather, a trough is extending from Uttar Pradesh to North Telangana and a Cyclonic Circulation is seen over Northern parts of Central Andhra Pradesh.

Good rains are also expected over the city of Nizams. In the last 24 hours from 8.30 am, Hyderabad has recorded 2 mm rainfall, while Ramagundam witnessed 38.2 mm rain. These rainfall activities are likely to prevail for the next two to three days.

Thereafter, rain activities are expected to decrease June 19 onward. Overall prediction for the month of June is much better for Telangana including Hyderabad as compared to a few other states.

The maximum day temperatures is settling around 30°C. Weather is pleasant across the city and people are enjoying the rainy spells. It’s the perfect time to visit the youngest state of our country Telangana, to witness its serene beauty.
