The state of Karnataka has seen hot and humid weather conditions during the last 24 hours. Rainfall activity has remained far away from the state during this period.
However, now, the present situation suggests some rainfall activity likely over some areas of the state.
An upper air Trough is extending from Eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh to the state of Karnataka. Thus, warm and moist winds are affecting the region.
In the next 24 hours, rain and thundershowers with strong winds are expected over the state of Karnataka.
Not only this, the capital city, Bengaluru may also see some rainfall activity making an appearance. These rains over the city will be moderate in intensity today.
Rainfall intensity will be higher over the southern parts of Interior Karnataka as compared to the north Interior regions. However, in terms of heat, northern parts will be hotter as compared to the southern regions.
These weather conditions will prevail during the next 24 to 36 hours thereafter, rainfall intensity will decrease for some time.
