At Vashi market, sugar prices continued their uptrend on back of firm futures and as producers kept the prices higher. Prices at Vashi went up by Rs 15-20 per quintal. The Bombay Sugar Merchants Association’s spot rates: S-grade Rs 3,300-3,436 (3,330-3,310) and M-grade Rs 3,400-3,522 (3,380-3,500) per quintal.
