Monsoon remains active over several parts of India, all thanks to numerous weather systems over the country. At present, Gujarat and south Rajasthan are the only two pockets which is not witnessing any rainfall.
The low pressure area over Uttar Pradesh has now weakened into a feeble cyclonic circulation but even as a diffused system, it will continue to give good rainfall over Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
Up in the hills, Western Disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir is on the verge of clearing away but the remnants of the system will keep giving moderate to heavy rains over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand during next 24 hours.
Meanwhile, a cyclonic circulation can be seen over Pakistan and adjoining North Rajasthan and with this we can expect light rain and thundershower activities over parts Punjab, Haryana, Delhi NCR and North Rajasthan on Wednesday.
Monsoon trough is also extending from the system up to the Bay of Bengal across the weather system over Uttar Pradesh. While secondary arm of the trough is reaching up to Northeast region. As a result intensity of rain over Northeastern states will now increase once again.
Another trough can be seen across east Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. And on Wednesday, light to moderate rains are expected over these parts and also over Marathwada and Vidarbha regions of Maharashtra.
Off shore trough along the west coast will continue to give light to moderate showers over Konkan & Goa and Kerala. While, rain over parts of Interior Karnataka and Tamil Nadu will be on lighter side for Wednesday.
