Rain activities have reduced over many parts of Rajasthan since last 24 to 48 hours. However, Southeast Rajasthan recorded light rainfall and eastern parts of Gujarat also witnessed few scattered showers. Rain activities intensified over North Madhya Maharashtra and Vidarbha.
Places like Buldhana in Vidarbha and Nashik in Madhya Maharashtra received good rain and thundershower activities and many parts of Madhya Pradesh also witnessed light rain. Now rain activities will once again intensify over many parts of Rajasthan for another 24 to 48 hours thereafter weather will go dry over the state. Madhya Pradesh will also witness scattered light rain with one or two thundershower spells. Meanwhile, rain activities will continue over north Madhya Maharashtra and Vidarbha for at least next 3 to 4 days.
This will be the first good pre-monsoon spell over central parts of the country. After this spell, weather will go almost dry over most parts and temperatures will start increasing. During the second half of March there are chances of 40° plus temperatures over parts of south Rajasthan, Gujarat, Vidarbha and south Madhya Pradesh.
